3OH!3, an electro-pop duo most famous for their songs “Electroshock,” “Don’t Trust Me” and “Starstrukk,” is set to play at the culmination of Welcome Week 2013.
The concert is going to be an outdoor event taking place on the East Tennessee State University Intramural Field.
The duo consists of Nathaniel “Nat” Motte and Sean Foreman (both of whom are from Boulder, Colo.), who formed the group in 2004. They released their first album in 2007 and then signed to Photo Finish Records.
Known for great live performances and comedic lyrics in their songs, 3OH!3’s repertoire should bring laughs from the crowd. Sean and Nat have established themselves as high-energy performers who interact with their audience.
3OH!3 is said to thrive and become more intense the livelier the audience. Incorporating extravagant light shows that are among the best in live performances, the duo has been called a must-see live event by Nevra Azerkam from Popzine Online.
Whether you are a fan of the guys or you have never heard of them, you don’t want to miss what is guaranteed to be an amazing performance.
Having returned to the road for tour dates after the June 2013 release of their fourth and much-awaited album “Omens,” the band is eager to showcase what they have described as a getting back to their roots album.
The band states on their official website, www.3oh3music.com, that their songs have been too polished in the past
The album was postponed for release multiple times and has taken more than two years to put together since Nat Motte announced they were working on it in February 2011.
