Buccaneer fans won’t be seeing many home games this week, as most of ETSU’s sports teams will be facing their rivals on the road.

Road action this week begins today as the men’s tennis team competes in the first day of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The championship will run through Friday.

The women’s golf team will also be in action today and tomorrow in Charleston, South Carolina, at the CSU Wendy’s Invitational.

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, the men’s soccer team will face the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Many teams will be in action Friday.

As the men’s tennis team participates in the final day of the ITA All-American Championships, the women’s tennis team will take the court for the opening day of the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The men’s golf team will also begin tournament play in Jonesborough on Friday at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, which will run through Sunday.

The women’s soccer team will play the first home match of the week against Mercer on Friday at 7 p.m.

The volleyball team will be the last in action on Friday at it travels to Birmingham, Alabama, to face Samford at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, the men’s tennis team will join the women’s team at the Wake Forest Invitational.

The men’s golf team will continue play at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, and the men’s and women’s cross country teams will participate in the Gene Mullin Invitational in Greenville, South Carolina.

The men’s soccer team will play the second home match of the week against Mercer at 7 p.m., rounding out Saturday’s action.

On Sunday, men’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis will all participate in the final days of their tournaments, while the women’s soccer team will take on The Citadel at home at 1 p.m.

The women’s golf team will be the only team in action on Oct. 12 as they compete in the Pinehurst Challenge in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The challenge will run through Oct. 13.

The men’s soccer team will also be in action on Oct. 13 against Furman University at home at 7 p.m.

Aside from the volleyball team, no teams will be in action on Oct. 14. The volleyball team will pay a visit to Cullowhee, North Carolina, to face Western Carolina at 7 p.m.
