ETSU students received a safety notice Tuesday morning about an an attempted robbery in parking lot 5.

A male student reported the incident to ETSU Public Safety on Nov. 22 at 1:29 a.m. The student said that four males wearing dark clothing with their faces covered approached him and demanded money. The suspects did not receive any money from the student and left the scene. There were no injuries reported, and no arrests have been made.

The safety notice described the suspects as three black males and one white male between the heights of 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet 1 inch. The black males were described as being a medium build and the white male a heavier build. Each suspect was described as wearing a dark hoodie and a bandana across his face.

Parking lot 5 is the student lot located across from Burgin-Dossett Hall next to Governors and Centennial Hall.

This is the first report of an attempted robbery of the 2016-2017 academic year.
