It’s that time of the year again. Believe it or not, spring break is fast approaching. Students who will be staying on or around campus will be grateful to know their whole world won’t be shutting down for the week, even though classes will.

For students who plan to stay on campus during break, residence halls will remain open.

The Culp Center, however, will be closed the first weekend of spring break– March 4 and March 5. The Culp will be open from March 6–10 from 7 a.m to 5 p.m. It will also be open from 3 p.m to midnight on March 12.

For students wanting to get ahead over break, the library will be open with limited hours. On March 3, the library will be open from 7:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m. It will be closed that weekend, but will reopen Monday-Friday from 8 a.m-4:30 p.m.

Even though your brain gets to take a break, your gains don’t have to. Students who enjoy working out will be happy to hear the Center for Physical Activity will remain open over spring break. The CPA will be open March 6–10 from 8 a.m-8 p.m, and both weekends of break–March 4 and 5 and March 11 and 12– from 1 p.m-5 p.m.

Students with a meal plan who are hoping to not starve to death over break are in luck.
