Would you like to bring the gift of Christmas into a child’s life? If so, East Tennessee State University Little Bucs could use your help!

With the holidays about to be in full swing, there are still about 15 little bucs who need a sponsor for the ETSU angel tree program.

According to the ETSU website, Little Buccaneers Early Childhood Laboratory Program is open to children of students enrolled at ETSU. Little Bucs is a 3-Star rated child care facility which serves children ages 3 months to 5 years.

The angel tree program, which is now in its seventh year at ETSU, provides gifts for children whose families cannot afford them.

Every holiday season Little Buccaneers organizes an Angel Tree for our student-families. If you would like to help a family this year, please select an angel from the Holiday Angel Tree,” an event description from 2015 of the little buc angel tree states.

Those wishing to choose an angel can check out the angel tree in the little bucs area of Warf-Pickel Hall located on the ETSU campus. Here, the little angels are shown on the tree and can be selected.

Donations, which are asked to be unwrapped, may also be delivered to Warf-Pickel Hall. Though no date has yet to be set for the end of donations accepted, the end of November to early December has been the deadline in the past years.

For any student  wanting to have their child become a little buc, a completed application, a non-refundable registration fee of $5 and a copy of your class schedule are required to be considered for an opening.
