At 19, sophomore writer Bianca Marais has covered a great deal of ground. Hailing originally from South Africa, Bianca has travelled all over the world, including Mount Everest, Prague and Rome. While in Istanbul, Marais met an East Tennessean and was interested in this area and eventually fell in love with it, enrolling at ETSU last year. Marais’s continent-crossing life certainly fits well with her outlook. Her favorite books are the classic British novels "Wuthering Heights" and "Jane Eyre."
