The ETSU Entrepreneur’s Club is giving students a chance to interact with local businesses and listen to guest speakers.
Dr. Andrew J. Czuchry, co-founder of the club, also teaches an entrepreneurs class in the fall semester every other year.
He believes that the Entrepreneur’s Club is an excellent way to get students involved in the real world as far as business goes.
By inviting guest speakers from local businesses, students can gain positive and negative perspectives firsthand.
“Real business people give valuable advice,” said Jay Dawson, president of the club. “This club provides forum for students to hear business professionals from the community.
“Not only will you see successful professionals, but also learn how to be successful in the business community.”
The club has no membership fee and is open to students as well as the public.
Meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 5 p.m. in Sam Wilson Hall.
The next meeting will be held on February 5 and will feature guest speaker Mike Bradley, chief operating officer of Cimtek.
