As for the Terriers, geography was likely their biggest downfall. Had they played in the weaker North, they might have been seeded as high as third. However, they must settle for fifth place in the South. Even if they had beaten the Bucs, to whom they fell by one point, 66-65, in their final game, they still would have finished behind the 9-7 pack in their division.
The Terriers feature the leagues leading scorer, Ian Chadwick, who poured in nearly 20 points per game (19.9). Opponents had better not focus their attention solely on the scoring king, however, as Head Coach Richard Johnson’s crew led the league in turnover margin despite not having anyone near the top of the steals leader board.
