The Health Professions Job Opportunities Day was held Monday in the Culp Center’s ballroom. Several exhibits from area health care providers were open for students to visit. Many surrounding states were also present in the event, including Georgia, Kentucky, South Carolina and Virginia. Calvin Purvis, assistant director of Career Placement and Internship Services, said several students turned out for the event.
