More than 100 authors will be at ETSU Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the “Celebration of Books and Authors” held in the D.P. Culp University Center ballroom, allowing fans to buy books and get autographs from their favorite authors.
“There will be books from all genres; history, horror, travel, cookbooks, you name it we’ve got it,” said Jean Flanigan, event coordinator and director of university libraries.
The list of authors attending includes Wilma Dykeman, who is Tennessee’s premier historian and, African American writer Lisa Teasley who has been recognized in the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post.
“It’s a chance for people to meet the authors they read and to get their books signed,” said Jerry Miller, library assistant.
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the ETSU library associates.
