ETSU and the department of music are proud to announce a joint concert on April 25. The concert band and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform their annual President’s Concert in the Culp Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.The concert band will begin their portion of the program with Luigi Zaninello’s arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner. Following this selection is Gustav Holst’s Jupiter from the collective works called The Planet. Other selections will include Second Suite in F for Military Band and America the Beautiful. The concert band will conclude the performance with Stars and Stripes For-ever. The concert band is open to all students on campus and in-cludes music majors and non-music majors.

The ETSU Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present the second half of this annual concert. The Ensemble has recently returned from their trip of the British Isles where they toured Scotland, Ireland and England.

The Ensemble’s performance will consists of Yiddish Dances, Cuban Overture, Come Thou Fount of Ever Blessing, Huntingtower-Ballad for Band, Machine-from Fifth Symphony, The Fairest of the Fair, Fanfare and Galop.

Admission is free and open to the general public.
