ETSU’s office of professional development is sponsoring a piano workshop on Thursday, Nov. 7, titled “Instant Piano for Hopelessly Busy People – Piano Playing Secrets.”
The workshop instructor is Deborah Belcher, who holds a D.M.A. degree in piano and has instructed and performed for over 20 years. The session will last from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in meeting room 6 of the D.P. Culp University Center.
This workshop shows an easy way to play several songs right in the class, then how to develop the technique at home using the CD and workbook supplied by the instructor. This is a beginning course in piano techniques. In addition, a specially prepared brochure on reading treble clef will be included with the course confirmation.
Registration is $79 and enrollment is limited to 30. An additional $25 will be collected by the instructor for the practice CD and workbook.
For enrollment, call 1-800-222-ETSU.
For further information call Terry Means at 439-8298 or professional development at 439-8083.
