Prospective students of East Tennessee State University are invited to attend the Fall Open House on Saturday, Oct. 30.
This free event, which begins at 9:45 a.m. in the D.P. Culp University Center’s Martha Street Culp Auditorium, is expected to bring approximately 800 seniors from 80 high schools throughout Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina.
Participants will have opportunities for personal conversation with faculty members and representatives from the offices of housing, financial aid and admissions, and will be able to tour departments and facilities.
This annual open house is held in conjunction with the university’s Homecoming festivities.
This year, participants will be invited to attend ETSU’s first Fall Family Festival, which will feature fun activities for the entire family from around 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Plenty of art exhibits and demonstrations, musical performances, “Exploring Science” activities, games for all ages, and much more will take place throughout the entire ETSU main campus. Event schedules and corresponding maps will be available in the Pedestrian Mall area near the Amphitheatre to assist visitors in deciding what to see and do.
For reservations, more information, or special assistance for those with disabilities, call the ETSU Office of Admissions at (423) 439-4213 or 1-800-GO2-ETSU (1-800-462-3878).
