Amy Greene, emerging author of the novel “Bloodroot,” came to visit Barnes and Noble of Johnson City last Tuesday, Jan. 12. for a book signing. “Bloodroot” centers around a young girl raised in Appalachia on the remote Bloodroot Mountain and the place’s legacy. Greene is from Morristown, Tenn., where she attended Morristown East High School. She already has plans for a second novel.
