There is a bridge. The university and the Millennium Center share this bridge for pedestrian traffic between the two. However, every day I arrive at school there is always a handful of heroes that feel they should risk their lives scampering beneath the bridge across one of the city’s busiest four-lane roads to avoid the three-story walk up the accessibility ramp.

Do you people really want to reminisce about your favorite game “Frogger,” or are you simply too lazy to make the walk?

I bet that while you are stuck in the median waiting for the next flood of traffic to pass you are thinking that the bridge or even the crosswalk at the intersection would have been a good idea. But then again, I imagine you make the same decision day to day.

A few times, I’ve witnessed the Frogger extraordinaires jolting in front of a line of cars causing us drivers to slam our breaks to avoid an impact.

It’s unnecessary and dangerous but most of all, it is annoying.

You might not care whether you get hit and die, but I don’t want to spend my time talking to insurance companies and telling your family why you’re not around.

I hope a casualty isn’t what it takes to convince you all to spend an extra minute using the bridge. And you should hope I drank my coffee before you run in front of me again. I wont feel sorry for laziness.
