As classes came to an end here at ETSU few things were left to do but an intramural championship game. The Rowdy Roosters took on the Phenomenon for the softball championship.

The game started slow for both teams as struggled to get people home after putting them on base.

This changed when in the top of the third Brent Dowling of Phenomenon stepped up to the plate and smashed a long ball for an in-the-park home run, Phenomenon put up another run after a triple for a two-run inning and a 2-0 lead.

Phenomenon continued the march for the title in the fourth when Nick “The Killer” Kolinsky hit a two-run home run.

Derek Desmarius put up another Phenomenon point on a single-run home run for a 5-0 lead for the Phenomenon after four innings.

Phenomenon’s offense seemed unstoppable after another two-run home run in the top of the fifth, this time by Cody Powell for a 7-0 lead.

Brent Dowling made another big show in the sixth when he hit his second in the park home run for a 8-0 lead.

The Rowdy Roosters finally put up some hits of their own. K-Rob hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth but the deficit was too much for the Roosters as the fell to the Phenomenon in the ETSU Softball Intramural Championship.
