New Orleans Hornets’ owner George Shinn will be speaking on the ETSU campus to begin next week’s NBA festivities, which will culminate in a preseason matchup between Shinn’s Hornets and the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, Oct. 16, inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center.Shinn, whose speech is entitled “You Gotta Believe!,” will be speaking inside the D.P. Culp Center’s Martha Culp Auditorium on Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. He will also hold a book signing of his two bestselling books, “YOU GOTTA BELIEVE!” and “Miracle of Motivation,” immediately following the speech in the Alumni Gallery.
