Just in time for the holiday season, a family will be able to be “home for the holidays” in a new house. ETSU will dedicate its fourth completed Habitat for Humanity home on Tuesday, Dec. 7, at 4 p.m.

The celebration will take place at the building site, 405 Whitney St., at the corner of Lamont Street.

The keys to the house will be presented to Robert and Layla Jones and their young sons, Robert Jr. and Stephen.

ETSU faculty and staff, representatives from the ETSU Habitat student organization, and members of Holston Habitat for Humanity will attend.

During the fall semester, ETSU students played an active role in both scheduling volunteers and fundraising.

They are planning events for the spring semester as they prepare to build a fifth home next fall.

A student-managed Web site at www.bucshabitat.org provides news updates, volunteer information and fundraising opportunities.
