On Nov. 4, the ETSU volleyball team played Samford at home, winning 3-0. It was the second meeting between the two teams this season. The first match up was on Sept. 24 when the Bucs came out on top winning 3-2 at Samford. The Bucs came into the most recent game with a record of 17-7 and 9-3 in Southern Conference play. The Bucs won set one 25 to 18. During the second set, Samford was able to make a late run, but the Bucs were able to close out the set winning 25 to 20. In the end, ETSU defeated Samford, winning 25 to 19 in the third set and improving their record to 18-7 and 10-3 in SoCon play. The Bucs are 10-0 at home.
