Mason Mosier was elected as president of the Student Government Association last semester, and he is motivated to do what is best for student life at ETSU. There is always a motive behind one’s actions, and behind the action is the values.
“For me personally, something that has always been very important to me is family,” Mosier said. “Coming together as a family is something that I always strive for.”
Mosier explains how his personal values of unity influence the way he serves as president of the Student Government Association.
“If we all work together, we can get anything done,” Mosier said. “Unity is my top priority, and uniting organizations is very important to me.”
Launching The Collaboration Initiative just a week ago is reflective on what unity is to him.
“I want to be a unifying figure to this university,” Mosier said. “I want to be someone who brings East Tennessee State University together and do great things for ourselves and others as fellow Bucaneers.”
Mosier’s personal values motivate him to collaborate and unify the university, with his strongest beliefs being unification and teamwork.
“I created The Collaboration Initiative for the sole purpose of working together as fellow classmates and friends. I want every student to know that I will have their back at any moment, no matter the case,” Mosier said.
Mosier wants every small or large student organization to thrive in this new semester, which is relevant considering the many new organizations coming to campus this fall.
“I want every organization, small or large, to know that myself and the Student Government Association are here for you no matter what,” Mosier said.
Mosier is excited to be back on campus and seeing significant growth in the community, and he is working diligently to make the campus united as one student body.
