The south is bringing the west to town with Sevierville’s newest attraction, Skyland Ranch. Skyland Ranch sits on top of a 100-acre farm and will combine many of Sevierville’s best attractions. It is slated to open this summer.

“Skyland Ranch has been a dream of the family’s for over 10 years. The ranch theme matches well with the Five-Oaks 100-year-old farm. The idea is to form a destination that tells a story of life on the ranch with a spark of amusement, festivals, shopping, dining and leisure,” stated Emily Williford, program and communications director of Skyland Ranch.

Mark and Lisa Williford run Skyland Ranch along with Rowdy Bear Mountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They have three children who also assist in operating the businesses. They also own Rowdy’s Smoky Mountain Snow Park.

“Mark and Lisa have always lived in Sevier County and have a passion for the amusement and entertainment industry,” stated Emily Williford.

Skyland Ranch will combine some of Sevierville’s best attractions. On-site, there will be a mountain coaster, a chairlift, miniature animals, canopy walks, a bakery, retail shops and a candy kitchen. There will also be a unique venue that will host country and Christmas concerts year-round.

Skyland Ranch has been in the works since summer of 2021. The placement of Skyland Ranch is what the family believes makes it stand out. It is located right in the middle of Sevierville next to one of the biggest retail outlets in the south, Tanger Outlets. There are also plenty of lodging and dining options in that surrounding area.

“This incorporates the scenic views of the Smoky Mountains that fits the culture of the area,” stated Williford in regard to the placement of Skyland Ranch atop the mountain.
