On Friday, March 3, we left for the tournament around 10:45 a.m. with the rest of the spirit squad after we ate some really good sandwiches from Honey Baked Ham.

After about an hour and a half drive we pulled up to the stadium, unloaded the bus and got settled in the arena. Although we weren’t playing yet, we could very easily tell that it was going to be a high energy game based on how much excitement the crowd had.

The game itself was an extremely fun time all around. From the tip off to the final buzzer crowd was an absolute joy to play for and the team seemed really appreciative of everyone’s energy.

We played a few of our favorite songs like “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars and “The Impression That I Get” by the Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

Although the women’s team didn’t come away with the win, we still cheered on the team the whole way through. After the game was over, we packed up and headed home.
