ETSU is excited to welcome students back for the 2023-24 school year and wants to bring students new experiences, even in the dining hall.

ETSU’s campus is one that strives to create community and the dining hall is a perfect place for all students to come together and interact with one another. It is essential to provide a place where everyone can find something they enjoy to eat.

Dining services General Manager Bruce Reed said, “ETSU Dining Services’ main goal for the dining hall this year is to be a destination for everyone. We want the dining hall to be the place where students meet peers to enjoy a meal and build friendships that will remain long after your graduation.”

In order to continue to give students a variety of foods and meals, the dining hall is continually updated with new menu items and featured stations. Reed said there are several new and exciting changes to check out this semester.

“There are several exciting changes to the dining hall this year. Chef’s Table is now Showcase and Ignite Grill is now Sizzle- both will have new graphics and new menu items. Plus, hand-formed burgers at Sizzle, which can be made to order. The Fired-Up Pizza station will add made-to-order personal pizzas,” Reed said.

ETSU’s dining service, Sodexo, has multiple teams and members who work to bring students stations and items they will enjoy. It is their goal to keep the dining experience new and exciting, giving students something they can always look forward to and enjoy.

New students or anyone unfamiliar with the dining hall can enjoy the new items anytime by buying a meal plan or just stopping by and paying for a single meal.

“New students can access the dining hall by purchasing a meal plan- either a traditional or block plan or pay at the door for each time they would like to visit the dining hall,” Reed said.

ETSU is excited for students to enjoy the new features of the dining hall and welcomes everyone to stop by.
