The Quillen College of Medicine will host Women’s Health: A Comprehensive Approach, a one-day conference on April 20, at the Adelphia Center at Millennium Park.
Topics to be addressed include postmenopausal osteoporosis, menopausal hormone replacement therapy, fibromyalgia and the relationship between depression and heart disease.
In addition, a special panel discussion will focus on self-care for health professionals.
Organizers say the conference is designed for primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, resident physicians, medical students and other health care professionals.
