Applications for the 2002 Legislative Intership Program in the Tennessee General Assembly are now available in the office of the ETSU department of political science, which is located in 301 Rogers-Stout Hall.
The legislative intership is open to junior and senior undergraduate students in any major who have a grade point average of 3.0 or above.
Students selected as interns will earn 15 hours of academic credit, receive travel and monthly stipends to cover living expenses in Nashville, and gain valuable, hands-on experience working with state legislators and their staffs.
The deadline to submit completed applications is Oct. 5.
