On Saturday, the ETSU volleyball team took the victory over UNC-Greensboro in all three games, 30-15, 30-17 and 30-19.
With a solid win over Davidson College on Friday night, the Bucs are paving their way up to the top of the Southern Conference rankings.
In the first game, the Bucs held their ground with a strong lead of 15 points by the game’s end.
There were some powerful sets by UNC-Greensboro, but it just couldn’t get the edge that they needed to win. The second and third games sealed the victory for ETSU.
With a 4-0 lead in the beginning of the second game, the adrenaline in the team was pumping steadily.
Sophomore outside hitter Kate Steidle gave the team an ace point and freshman middle/outside hitter Natalie Atzinger did the same. The team ended up with nearly 40 assists, three kills, two aces and three digs.
This is the ninth-straight win for the ETSU volleyball team.
ETSU next plays Chattanooga on Friday in Brooks Gym at 7 p.m.
