The Buccaneer women’s golf team finished in a tie for sixth after shooting a final round score of 320 in the John Kirk Lady Panther Intercollegiate, hosted by Georiga State University at the Eagles Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Ga.
The Lady Bucs finished in a tie with Middle Tennesse State, 29 strokes behind host Georiga State.
ETSU was led by senior Mimmie Dymling, who finished in a tie for third after shooting rounds of 78 and 75 for a total score of 153.
The third place finish is Dymling’s career-best, improving on her sixth-place finish at the Bradford Creek Spring Invitational last season.
Dymling finished just two strokes behind individual champion Anna Molin of Georgia State.
Fellow senior Catalina Zuluaga finished well in the tournament, also finishing in a tie for 22nd with rounds of 85 and 79 for a score of 164.
Also playing well for ETSU was Kristin Fletcher, who shot a final round of 83 to finish in a tie for 33rd (85-83=168). Freshmen Alysa Few (87-85=172) and Danielle O’Reilly (89-83=172) rounded out ETSU’s tournament, both tying for 38th place.
The Lady Panther Intercollegiate concluded the Lady Bucs’ fall schedule.
The spring season will begin on Feb. 3-5 with the Florida International University Invita-tional in Miami, Fla.
