Amber Ciskowski, a senior outside hitter, poured in 12 kills, five digs, two service aces and an assist to lead the Buccaneers to a Southern Conference win Saturday night in McAlister Field House.
Freshman middle hitter Natalie Atzinger contributed nine kills, two service aces, two digs and an assist as ETSU won by scores of 30-25, 30-14 and 30-28.
The Buccaneers got plenty of assists as setters Carey Cavanaugh and Jessica Miller recorded 19 and 14 assists, respectively.
The Citadel (7-20, 0-16 SoCon) was led by senior Nicole Mantu, who had 12 kills and no errors in 19 total attacks for a school-record attack percentage of .632. She also tied for the team lead with four digs and had a service ace.
Freshman outside hitter Tara Stephenson had a strong match as well for the Bulldogs with 10 kills, two block assists, a solo block and a dig.

The College of Charleston used 24 blocks, including six block assists by Tara Greene to defeat the Bucs, 3-1 on Sunday afternoon at the John Kresse Arena in Charleston.
After taking the first two games by scores of 30-13 and 30-24, the Cougars (26-2, 16-1) struggled in the third game as the Bucs (18-4, 13-4) had their best effort to take the third game 30-25 off 19 kills.
Charleston stepped up its game in the fourth to take the match with a close 30-25 win.
The Bucs were led by Carey Cavanaugh and Lissa Allen, who each had 12 kills. Amber Ciskowski led ETSU in digs with 20.
The Bucs will next play Appalachian State on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Boone, N.C.
ETSU takes 4-3 win over Wofford on Senior Day

Adrenaline was high Sunday at Liberty Bell Soccer Complex, as the Lady Bucs’ game against Wofford went into sudden death overtime with the score tied at 3-3.
Breaking her record for the season, senior Lisa Gallagher made the final goal during overtime making the score 4-3 and her total number of goals by the game’s end — three. Lisa also had eight shots, four of which were on goal.
Not to be left out, the team’s other senior Kristin Redfern had a goal that night, three shots, one shot on goal and one assist.
The first half started off with Redfern taking advantage of a penalty kick, then Gallagher scoring at 25:16.
The Lady Bucs were leading by a score of 2-0.
Wofford caught up though, as Faith Stewart shot two goals and made the Bucs a little nervous. After another goal from Gallagher, Wofford sophomore Jamie Cutts made her own goal and tied the teams again at 3-3.
Redfern led the team in assists (5), shots on goal (27), and points (19).
Gallagher trailed her slightly with two assists, 20 shots on goal, and 16 points.
Gallagher also has one game-winning shot on the season. The two are tied with seven goals apiece.
“We’ve had more possession this season,” Gallagher said of her last year with the ETSU women’s soccer team. “Coming off the last couple of losses was hard.”
This victory was a nice touch for Senior Day, as Redfern and Gallagher made all of the team’s goals.
Head coach Heather Henson was especially proud of the seniors that night.
“Lisa and Kristin have great work ethic. They’ve told me that, ‘We may not win every game, but we will improve in our program,’” Henson said.
“They came in the second-year, and as individuals they really work hard at it.”
Henson seemed excited about the team that she has coming up next year.
“They all have diversity and willpower and determination. We’re just getting past our losses and focusing on what’s ahead,” she said.
“We are here (not just to win) but to make a statement. Today was an exceptional day for working on our front and we will be organizing our defense.”
“As far as off-season training, the girls will just come in and say, ‘We are here.’ ”
The ETSU women’s soccer team had a total of 23 goals this past season, 198 shot attempts, 40 assists, 1.4 goals per game and 11.6 shots per game.
Goalies Heather Sanden and Lauren Fannon had a total of 146 saves and a 5.6 goal average.
