The Buccaneer tennis team (2-1) swept the VMI Keydets, 7-0, on Sunday morning at Memorial Center.In doubles competition Marcos Pavlovich and Diego Iglesias defeated VMI’s Tom Huffman and Brian Ahmes, 8-5. Alejandro Salazar and Federico Ochoa defeated the Keydet team of Slobodan Stipic and Ryan Spivey in the No. 2 spot and Francisco Diaz and Moises Serrano topped Ted Nevatt and Milton Aquirre, 8-2, at No. 3.

In singles action, Pavlovich defeated Huffman at No. 1, 6-1, 6-2. At No. 2 Salazar topped Stipic 6-0, 6-2 with Serrano defeating Aquirre 6-2, 6-3 at the No. 3 spot.

In the No. 4 match Iglesias defeated Ahmes 6-0, 6-2 as Ochoa topped Nevatt 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 5. In the No. 6 match Diaz defeated Tatum, 6-0, 6-0.
