THE COACHES: Chattanooga head coach Donnie Kirkpatrick (Lenoir-Rhyne ’82) is in his third season as head coach of the Mocs and has a record of 8-14 … Gardner-Webb head coach Steve Patton (Furman ’77) is in his sixth season with the Bulldogs and has a record of 35-20 … Overall, he is in his 10th season as a college head coach with a record of 65-43-1 including stops at Mars Hill and North Greenville College.
