ETSU shot a 318 to place fifth on the final day of the Cougar Fall Invitational held at the Rivertowne Country Club in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The Buccaneers were led by freshman Laura Diaz, who shot a team low 78. Danielle O’Reilly and Robin McCarley both shot a 79 in the final day of competition.
McCarley, who was tied for sixth individually after day one, finished the tournament tied for 11th. Kristen Fletcher shot an 82 and Ashley Barton shot an 83 on the day.
College of Charleston, the host for the Cougar Fall Invitational, won the tournament. The Cougars shot a tournament low 295 to pass yesterday’s leader Coastal Carolina for the victory.
The Bucs will take a break until Oct. 21-22 when they travel to Waynesville, N.C., to play in the Wachovia-Great Smokies Intercollegiate hosted by Western Carolina.
