The ETSU women concluded their final day at the Virginia Tech Fall Invitational with two consolation final appearances in Blacksburg, Va.
Junior Courtney McInnis defeated Rebecca Vanderlest of James Madison University, 7-5, 6-3, to advance into the consolation finals, where McInnis was defeated 6-4, 6-1 by Renata Caceres.
Tatiana Arriarian and Amiee Villavincencio defeated Paige Mowry and Ashley Reyher of James Madison, 8-6 to advance into the finals of the consolation bracket where they were defeated 8-3, by Laura James of Virginia and Landis Strader of N.C. State.
The Bucs will return to action Oct. 24-28 at the ITA Southeast Regional in Winston-Salem, N.C.
