Five ETSU football players were named to the SoCon All-Conference team recently.
Cornerback Tony Tiller and safety Gerald Sensabaugh were named to the first-team defensive unit. Tiller, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound junior, picked up his second selection to the All-SoCon coaches team after receiving second-team honors a year ago. Meanwhile, Sensabaugh, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound sophomore, is making his first appearance on the team after a season in which he collected one interception, four fumble recoveries and was fifth on the team in tackles.
Also on defense, strong safety Montreal Harkley was a second-team pick after a season in which he picked off a team-high six passes. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound junior has become a critical member of the Bucs secondary, winning national Player of the Week honors in 2001 and now earning All-SoCon honors.
On the offensive side of the ball, wide receiver Cecil Moore was picked to the All-SoCon team for a third year, earning second-team honors after a season in which he collected a team-high 44 receptions for 682 yards and seven touchdowns.
And finally, punter Aaron Bass, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound junior, was picked to the second-team after punting 77 times and averaging 42.9 yards a kick this year. Bass booted 18 kicks over 50 yards, placed 14 boots inside the 20, and had a season-high, 75-yard kick against Wofford.
