Dear Editor,
During the summer, I had to use a wheelchair while having some problems with my feet taken care of. Living at Buc Village, I knew it would be a challenge to get myself up the hill each day, but I was determined to do it. Next thing I knew, many, many wonderful people offered to help.
Although I chose to try to make it on my own to build up stamina in case I had to be in the chair for an extended time, there were times I was tired and accepted help.
It is to these people who offered to help and those who helped that I wish to give a heartfelt thanks to.
I felt so blessed! One of the things I found here in Johnson City is that it is the friendliest place I have ever been! Thank you everyone for your kindness!
