I am an SGA senator, and I would like to ask for a retraction of the statement in the SGA article regarding the parking and smoking ban. It is stated that I, (Trey Robb) plan to repeal the smoking ban at ETSU. I am simply going to be asking for designated smoking areas around campus. I feel that the student body, faculty, and staff will get the wrong idea from the article and think that I am trying to repeal the smoking ban in its entirety. That is not my intent at all. I would like to reach a compromise between agitated non-smokers and smokers alike.
