The Wesley Foundation at East Tennessee State University will hold its seventh annual Barbecue and Auction on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Wesley Foundation United Methodist Student Center, 1100 Seminole Drive, on the edge of campus.
The silent auction runs from 12:30-4 p.m., and the live auction from 2-3:30 p.m. Barbecue and all the trimmings will be available from 12:30-1:45 p.m., and then again from 3:30-4:30 ap.m. (including take-out orders). Food will not be available during the live auction.
Over 100 items are expected to be auctioned off, including property timeshares, tickets to the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, University of Tennessee football tickets, a Stresslessr Recliner, hardwood flooring, brick pavers, golf packages, four new tires, artwork and photography, gift baskets, a hayride excursion, locally made baked goods, tickets to the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Va., and more.
The Wesley Foundation is currently accepting donated items for both the silent and live auctions.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Proceeds will support the local, regional and international student mission outreach programs of the ETSU United Methodist campus ministry.
