Dear Editor,
I very happy to see that people will stand up and fight for their First Amendment. I’ve been reading these letters about religion and how passionate everyone is about their beliefs, but that is beside the point. I cannot figure out why we will fight so hard for our freedom of speech and freedom of religion, but we seem to become complacent in all of our other rights.
The Constitution is the law of the land. I would love to see people standing and saying “Enough.” We need to fight for ALL of our rights, because if we don’t start now, they will take them all away one by one, including your precious 1st Amendment. “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” -Thomas Jefferson
