As sweeps makes its exit, in comes a day filled with Turkey, dressing and possibly a coma from eating said turkey. This week may be shortened for classes but it’s not for programming. So, here are a few options of what’s on the tube this week.
On NBC at 8 p.m. is “Chuck.” This week follows up on last week’s shocking reveal that Chuck’s new girlfriend Jill is actually a double-agent for the evil agency Volcrum. Casey and Sarah race to find Chuck before Jill does more than break his heart.
At 9 p.m. on NBC is the first real two-part episode this season on “Heroes.”
This week’s episode entitled “The Eclipse” has the heroes dealing with losing their powers as the eclipse that supposedly empowered them returns with devastating results. Actors Seth Green and Breckin Meyer guest star.
Tuesday on ABC is a special showing of “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.” Join the Peanuts as they not only celebrate Thanksgiving but also learn about its history. “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” airs at 8 p.m.
Following “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” is the finale of “Dancing with the Stars.” Last week saw the elimination of fan favorite Cody Linley, leaving Lance Bass and Brooke Burke to battle it out for the giant disco ball trophy.
Wednesday at 8 p.m. on ABC is one of the final episodes of critically acclaimed but ratings challenged “Pushing Daisies.” After having received the axe this week, fans of the show only have six more episodes before Ned bakes his last pie and solves his last mystery with love interest Chuck.
Although this loss for “Pushing Daisies” may be a gain for “Heroes” as “Daisies” creator Bryan Fuller will be making his return as a writer on “Heroes” and possibly rescuing the show from its own possible demise.
And with Thursday comes Thanksgiving, so instead of watching television, I’m suggesting you enjoy the food, enjoy the free time, but most of all enjoy the company of your family and friends.
