As part of the yearly Vagabond Tour, TOMS Shoes will be hosting an event at Stir Fry Cafe on Saturday, April 11 from 6-10 p.m. Attendees will be able to eat, socialize, decorate shoes and purchase gear.
At Stir Fry, there will be a “Style Your Sole” party. Participants can buy a blank pair of TOMS and decorate the shoes to make them unique to their own style.
Other varieties of TOMS shoes will be for sale, starting at $42. The TOMS expanded merchandise line, including T-shirts and skateboards, will also be available for purchase.
Before the night is through, there will be a screening of For Tomorrow, a documentary based on the TOMS first shoe drop done in Argentina.
TOMS shoes has a uniquebusinessmodel. For every pair of TOMS purchased, a pair is given to a child in need.
Since their beginning in May 2006, TOMS has given over 130,000 pairs of shoes to children in Argentina, South Africa,Ethiopiaand right here in the United States.
Giving a child a pair of shoes greatly decreases their chances of contracting foot-borne illnesses that seep through cuts and open wounds on bare feet.
