Dear Editor,
The American people are fed up with out-of-control government spending, regulations and taxation. This was the prime reason that millions protested on April 15, known as the ‘Tea Party’ rallies, all across America. The intervention of government is killing the U.S. economy.
Our senators, congressmen and president Obama need to heed the words of economist Henry Hazlitt, “The mounting burden of taxation not only undermines individual incentives to increased work and earnings, but in a score of ways discourages capital accumulation and distorts, unbalances and shrinks production. Total real wealth and income is made smaller than it would otherwise be. On net balance there is more poverty rather than less.”
The more government intervenes through these bankster bailouts and so-called stimulus plans, the more jobs are lost, the more the U.S. dollar depreciates and the more middle class America is destroyed. Even under Keynesian economics to justify the increase in the money supply requires a strong vibrant economy, which we do not have! Under NAFTA, GATT and the WTO, America has lost more than 80 percent of her industrial base.
The Federal Reserve, has manipulated our economy, and the money supply for decades to keep the U.S. dollar afloat, now their destroying it by design. For those us who understand monetary policy and economics knows that this is happening deliberately!
I believe it is time for a divorce between state and bank. Removing the control of money, and the economy from the bankers, restoring it to the people to whom it properly belongs. Remember the words of Barry Goldwater, “Now those who seek absolute power, even though they seek it to do what they regard as good, are simply demanding the right to enforce their own version of heaven on earth, and let me remind you they are the very ones who always create the most hellish tyranny.”
