Above, Kevin Reaves looks at the Salvador Dali exhibition, which is on display at the Reece Museum until Nov. 12. The Reese Museum is open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursdays. Much of Dali’s work displays the love of his country and of his wife, Gala, who was his main inspiration. The most common object in his works is a soft watch. To Dali, this shapeless form suggested that time is of no importance. Dali saw the world through a dreamlike perspective.
