The ETSU Cancer Center has moved to the Regional Cancer Center, where Drs. K. Krishnan and Robert Enck, specialists in hematology-oncology for ETSU Physicians and Associates, will now be seeing patients.The Regional Cancer Center is located at 1 Professional Park Drive, Suite 21 and offers convenient access to Johnson City Medical Center.

The center is a service of Mountain States Health Alliance. Krishnan and Enck are practicing physicians and faculty members at East Tennessee State University’s James H. Quillen College of Medicine.

Krishnan, who is board certified in hematology, medical oncology and internal medicine, is chief of hematology and oncology for ETSU Physicians and Associates and holds the Paul Dishner Chair of Excellence in the ETSU Department of Internal Medicine.

He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas’ M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Enck is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine and was recently recognized in Consumers’ Research Council of America’s “Guide to America’s Top Oncologists 2009.”

He has been extensively involved in clinical trials research funded by the National Cancer Institute, has more than 200 publications and has written two books, in addition to being editor-in-chief of the American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Enck is also director of the Medical Oncology Fellowship Program.
