Today: Andy Warhol photo exhibition continues in Reece Museum. In the summer of 2008 the Slocomb Galleries received over 100 original photographs from the Andy Warhol Foundation. The Reece Museum and the Slocumb Galleries are proud to reveal this collection of photographs from the renowned artist. This event continues until Jan. 7, 2010. For more information and Reece Museum hours, visit www.etsu.edu/reece.Tuesday, Nov. 22, 7 p.m.: ETSU Wind Ensemble & Concert Band – The ETSU Bands Department presents its ending concert for the fall semester with Dr. John Ginocchio, Director of Bands at Southwest Minnesota State University, as guest conductor. Also featured is Dr. Phillip Rhodes, ETSU Basler Chair for the fall semester, who presents a pre-concert lecture on one of his compositions that will be performed on the program. Admission is free.
Saturday, Dec. 2, 6 p.m.: HIV/AIDS Awareness Film – “A Closer Walk” is a film about the global AIDS epidemic which includes appearances by the Dalai Lama and U2’s Bono. This is a free event and will take place in the Martha Street Culp Center Auditorium. It is open to faculty, staff, students, and anyone who wants to come.
