One thing the Lady Bucs have excelled in this season is generating a lot of offense. On Thursday night, East Tennessee State University takes its high-flying offense to the Music City, as the Lady Bucs face Lipscomb inside Allen Arena. Tip is set for 6:15 p.m. (Eastern).

ETSU carries a four-game winning streak into Nashville as the Lady Bucs stand 8-7, 6-1 in Atlantic Sun play.

A pair of senior guards has fueled the Lady Bucs’ offensive attack in TaRonda Wiles (Danville, Va.) and Siarre Evans (Griffin, Ga.).

Wiles, the A-Sun leader in scoring (19.7), also ranks 18th amongst all Division I athletes in that category. Meanwhile, Evans ranks third in the A-Sun with 17.6 points per game (53rd in the country) and 10th overall with 11.1 rebounds per contest.

Along with their strong scoring attack, ETSU ranks 28th in 3-point field goals per game (7.3) and 41st in free-throw shooting (73.8).

The Lady Bucs are coming off an important win over league-leading Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday afternoon, 88-83. Junior point guard Tara Davis (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) came off the bench to score a career-high 21 points, while Evans notched her 43rd career double-double – finishing with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Following the impressive effort by Evans, the Griffin, Ga., native received her sixth career A-Sun Player of the Week honor.

Lipscomb suffered a pair of losses last weekend in Jacksonville and enters play 4-14, 2-6. After defeating Belmont in overtime on Monday night, the Lady Bisons lost to Jacksonville (48-66) and UNF (64-75).

The Lady Bisons are led by junior guard Jenna Bartsokas, who leads the club with 12.2 points and 2.6 assists. As a team, Lipscomb ranks eighth in scoring offense (59.7) and seventh in defense (66.6).
