Paul Hayden will speak on “Restoring the Nolichucky River Watershed” on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m., in the Brown Hall auditorium at East Tennessee State University.Hayden is affiliated with the Middle Nolichucky Watershed Alliance (MNWA), located in Greeneville and dedicated “to restore and protect the waters of Greene County and to educate the public about ways to improve water quality.”

After screening a brief documentary video he helped to produce, Hayden will discuss the alliance and its efforts to improve the Nolichucky River watershed. He will answer questions and lead a discussion. Hayden’s visit is sponsored by the ETSU environmental studies minor and by ETSU’s environmental student group, I.C.E. – Initiative for Clean Energy.
