Dr. Doug Gamble, a climatologist from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington, will present a free public lecture at East Tennessee State University on Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 5 p.m. in 201 Hutcheson Hall.Gamble’s visit is funded through a grant awarded to the ETSU Department of Geosciences and the University of Tennessee from the American Association of Geographers and Gamma Theta Upsilon.
Prior to this lecture, which is entitled “The Caribbean Mid-Summer Drought: Cause, Climate Change and Perception,” he will spend the day with ETSU students, faculty and administrators.
