Dear Editor:”Ground Zero Mosque Controversy” was very poorly written. I was disappointed in the lack of knowledge.

You should challenge your writers to know what they are talking about before they write.

A little more work would have made this a good article.

This is the response I posted about the article and if I was the editor I would have told my writer this before I would have considered printing this article.

I was actually assigned a paper on prejudice this week. This article is a good example of prejudice because the root of the article, like prejudice, is based on ignorance.

Not saying that it is all wrong, but that the conclusion is completely wrong because there are a lot of misunderstandings and generalizations written into this article.

I suggest Brittany get to know a lot more “Christians” because this seems to be the kind of people she is prejudice against.

Get to know what they are like, what they desire in life, why they do what they do.

After she spends a good fair amount of time with them I think she would have another opinion.

Remember that ignorance (prejudice) is what is destroying this country today.
