Friday, Oct. 1

10 a.m. – East Tennessee State University will officially begin its 100th anniversary observance – “Partnerships, Promise, and Hope for 100 Years” – during the Centennial Opening Celebration. The program will include remarks from ETSU President Dr. Paul E. Stanton, Jr., a video presentation, and the announcement of the faculty and staff winners of the student choice awards contest. In addition, President Stanton will read the official centennial proclamation and sign commemorative copies to be given away following the program.

7 p.m – D.P. Culp University Center’s Culp Auditorium features “cheap date night” with the movie “Twilight: Eclipse.”

Sunday, Oct. 3

5:30 p.m. – Rebecca Lile Paluzzi, professor of flute and director of the Suzuki Institute at ETSU, proudly presents her university students in a recital of flute music in Mathes Hall, Room 107.

Monday, Oct. 4

4 p.m. – Multicultural Affairs will sponsor free Latin dance lessons in the Ball Room of the D.P. Culp University Center.
