This week I had a very interesting point brought to my attention. Though I state that I am vegetarian, I am still regularly buying animal flesh . cat food. I had honestly not even thought about this conundrum until someone pointed it out to me. I initially was quite worried about it, but after giving it much thought, I concluded that I can’t exactly sit down and reason with my fine feline friend and explain to him that eating meat is bad for him.

I guess as long as I don’t get down and join him for dinner, I can’t really feel guilty about this. Speaking of dinner, here’s little tidbit: Tacos made with the fake meat crumbles are awesome. You prepare them the same as you would with a pound of hamburger, and honestly, I couldn’t tell a difference.

Also a plus, Boca Ground Crumbles made with soy have less cholesterol and less fat than the real thing.

Buy them from your local Wal-Mart and try them for yourself to see if you can taste the difference.

While I’m trying new meat alternative foods, I’m continuing my vegetarian research and I have decided that it is simply overwhelming. I have my own personal reasons for going vegetarian but if someone was unsure and searching for the right answers, there is so much information available to them.

However, it seems every piece contradicts what was said in the one before it.

What really keeps me going is knowing that the majority of animals bound for slaughter do not have a Disney existence.

Animals are also, inarguably, being fed copious amounts of antibiotics that affect not only their health, but my own when I consume them.

Without going into a rant, here are my facts: I feel notably better not consuming meat. I have noticed a large improvement in my digestion.

I have also noticed that I have much less heartburn and indigestion now, even after a month. I also have more energy.

Continuing my choice to park far away from my destination is working wonders on my legs. All and all, I feel pretty good, and I have no doubt that in a month or two, I will be feeling even better.
