ETSU’s Tradition Keepers will be hosting a Murder Mystery Night on Jan. 27 at the Alumni House adjacent to campus, located at 908 W Maple Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.
Students are encouraged to email club member Dana Weckel in order to claim a character for the event. Costumes are encouraged for the characters in order to bring them to life!
Characters for the event include Martha Culp, Captain Kidd, Nell Dossett, Sam Wilson and even Pepper.!
During September of 2020, the Tradition Keepers hosted an online Murder Mystery Zoom to encourage students to still have fun and be involved on campus during the pandemic.
“Now that students have returned to campus, we are excited to host many more gatherings like the Murder Mystery Night in person again,” said Dana Weckel, event coordinator.
The ETSU Tradition Keepers help engage students to enforce their bond with their university and keep up their school spirit. This club also helps to create mentor relationships between students and alumni who were once a student on campus as well.
The ETSU Tradition Keepers are a driving force behind football game tailgate parties, games on the Quad, holiday-themed events and more! Additionally, they also have days where the club plays corn hole, Frisbee, croque, and other games. They typically offer free food at their events, which helps to get new members involved and strike up conversations.
